Qualified as an art therapist in 1987, works as an art therapist and clinical supervisor, and has researched and published extensively

Michèle has an international reputation as a leading authority in art therapy in palliative care, and a research interest in digital technologies for art therapy and psychosocial support in healthcare, especially at the end of life.  Her recent publications include The International Handbook of Art Therapy in Hospice and Bereavement Care, published by Routledge in June 2019. Michèle is Senior Art Therapist at the Marie Curie Hospice Hampstead, London, Principal Teaching Fellow at the University of Roehampton, and a Churchill Fellow. Michèle is a National AHP Clinical Expert, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Schwartz Round Facilitator.
